Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy is a functional therapy helping you to improve your cognitive skills in all aspects of your everyday life.
These skills include information processing, attention, visual processing, memory, language, and executive functions. 


Cognitive Rehabilitation Therapy consists of:

Gain a better understanding of how your brain works.

Cognitive Skill Training

Develop process training exercises to train specific cognitive skills.

Strategy Training

Strategy Training to compensate and learn new ways of independent living. 

These can be internal, external, or environmental strategies.

Stress Management

Chronic stress is toxic to the brain. Learn Stress Management techniques to manage your stress levels.

How Does It Work?


HOW DOES A BETTER Brain SESSION WORK?

15 min call with Emer

Emer will outline the 8 week program and we can establish what your goals are.

You may want to consider an assessment of your brain health before starting the 8 week program if you are unsure of your symptom profile.

step two

Questionnaire

You will receive questionnaires via email. These will help you understand the various brain health areas that are impacting you . 

step three

8-week program

This is delivered over videocall. We will cover a variety of evidence based Cognitive rehabilitation topics such as Attention and  Memory. Emer has been delivering this 8-week program for over 10 years. 

These sessions have been designed to be fun and interesting so you can master your own brain health. 

You can also choose to learn brain healthy meditation, yoga or relaxation techniques as part of your 8-weeks. 

You may want to extend your program beyond the 8-weeks and this is also possible.

I am a Specialist Neuro-Occupational Therapist and Yoga Therapist.
I have worked 1-2-1 with clients and their families since 2005 and I want to share my brain health knowledge with you.

I have expertise in science-based breathwork, movement and meditation to optimise your brain functions.
